Went for date night and it was really great food! It was our first time there and they had lots of space and great decor. We started with the Spinach and Artichoke dip. Then we both got the Flat Iron Steak for our entrees. Everything tasted amazing. We also tried the apple and pear moscato which was sweet and refreshing. Also ordered the Rasperry Lemon drop and Berry Mojito from the seasonal menu but those cocktails weren't very good. Stick to the wine.

We are members of the mermaid winery and if you are not a member you should join. Both locations that's in Virginia Beach and downtown Norfolk are amazing. Charming and comfortable. The food and service are excellent. Thursday has a dinner to share for $50. Includes 2 big biscuits, any appetizer, bottle of wine and an entree to all share.

My husband and I had a really nice time here this past Saturday. The food was delicious (Southern Belle Burger and Blackened Tuna Tacos). The fresh, hot fries were also yummy. We both enjoyed those, as well. Wine sampling was fun - my husband realized if he's going to drink wine he'd prefer white. I think I agree :0) Our waitress was awesome - very friendly and attentive with a great sense of humor. The atmosphere is great - relaxing, casual and comfortable. Check them out!

Great winery with two locations in VB and Norfolk. The Norfolk location is nicer though. The hostess at this one was a little rude when explaining that they don't offer tastings only flights. She also couldn't figure out how to check us out for the bottle of wine we bought. The waiters were lovely. The crème brûlée was delicious and the fruit was fresh. Quite pricey at $10 for the crème brûlée and $15 for the flight. The wines were all $25+. While the wine is pretty good, $30 is a bit steep.

I came here with a group of 7 ladies from my work, my first time to this location. Our table was ready for us when we got there. Our waiter was super friendly and attentive the entire time. Be forewarned if you have a party of 8 or more there is a more limited menu and no wine flights offered. I went for the grilled cheese and was a big fan of all the cheeses- very gooey and yummy with a hint of jam. I did sample a strawberry Merlot a friend had and I will be getting a glass of that next time. Great place for group gatherings, and there were several that day.
